Sunday, August 17, 2025 | from 15:00 | Soda Beach Garden, Berlin
Three bands. One afternoon. Full soul.
Set in the urban oasis of Soda Beach Garden (right in the heart of Berlin’s iconic Kulturbrauerei), the Mississippi Blues & Barbecue Festival is a full-on
sensory experience — blues grooves, smoky BBQ, and chilled vibes all rolled into one unforgettable Sunday.
This isn’t your average summer concert. This is a musical cookout, a cultural hang, and a tribute to the spirit of the Mississippi Delta — reimagined in Berlin style. Now in its 6th edition, this kult festival has become a favourite for blues lovers, curious newcomers, foodies, and anyone who likes their Sundays with a side of rhythm.
Suitcase Brothers (Spain)
A powerhouse acoustic duo known for their raw, traditional blues rooted deep in the Delta. Minimal setup, maximum soul.
Juke Joint Smokers (Germany)
Earthy, groovy, and unashamedly gritty. These guys deliver blues like it’s meant to be: smoky, swinging, and soaked in rhythm.
Big Creek Slim Band (Denmark)
With a voice straight from the cotton fields and a presence that commands the stage, Big Creek Slim and his band bring deep southern blues that’s as authentic as it gets. Featured in: Milk Man Blues.
We’re serving up mouth-watering Southern-style BBQ, cooked low and slow — just like the music. From ribs and pulled pork to vegetarian and vegan options, there’s something for every plate.
Pair it with a cold drink, grab a deck chair, and let the music wash over you.
Located at the Kulturbrauerei in Berlin’s vibrant Prenzlauer Berg district, Soda Beach Garden is the perfect open-air spot for this kind of hang. A laid-back space with sand underfoot and plenty of room to stretch out — or get up and dance.
☔ Bad weather? No problem. The show goes on indoors!
